Every product I create begins with a person—a story, a need, a moment that matters.

For me, the story began with my mom.

She was only 62 when her memory started to decline. Watching that happen so early was heartbreaking, and I needed to understand why. After months of research, I discovered that one of the ingredients in her everyday antiperspirant had been linked to memory loss. That realization stopped me in my tracks. I started looking deeper and realized how many ingredients—chemicals banned for decades in Europe and Japan—were still showing up in products used by millions of Americans every day. It made me angry. It made me protective. And it made me determined to create something better.

So I signed up for a to natural skincare school in Europe to study cosmetic formulation to the highest safety and sustainability standards. I learned how ingredients interact with the skin, how purity and sourcing matter just as much as efficacy, and how transparency is the foundation of trust. My first mission was simple but personal: to formulate a natural deodorant that worked without aluminum chloride. After many rounds of testing (and some very patient friends and family), that deodorant became the very first Simple Body product—and it’s still one of our bestsellers today.

As Simple Body grew, my focus expanded from clean formulation to connection. I discovered how much I loved helping people understand their skin—listening to their stories, teaching them how to build simple routines, and seeing the change in their confidence when their skin started to heal. That’s how our free skincare consultations were born. I’ve always believed people should be able to try products before they buy them and learn what works for their unique skin, not just follow trends or marketing claims. Helping people feel comfortable and radiant in their own skin has become my life’s purpose—and the true heart of Simple Body.

Today, we formulate everything with intention and closely follow COSMOS standards where possible. I care deeply about how and where our ingredients are grown, harvested, and processed, following a cradle-to-grave philosophy that honors both the skin and the planet. Our products are powered by plants and backed by science, designed to perform beautifully in all climates and for all skin types. Whether you’re just beginning your clean skincare journey or refining a long-time ritual, my hope is that every Simple Body product feels like an invitation—to slow down, to reconnect, and to remember that caring for yourself can be, well, simple.
