How It All Began
Simple Body began as something deeply personal. My mom was only 62 when her memory began to decline, and I remember wondering how that could happen so soon. After some research, I discovered that one of the ingredients in her antiperspirant had been linked to memory loss. That moment changed everything for me. I started digging deeper and realized that many ingredients banned in Europe and Japan were still being used in everyday American skincare products. It made me angry, protective, and determined to create something better. I went to school in Europe to study skincare formulation to those higher, safer standards—and what started as a mission to make a safe, effective deodorant for my mom became the foundation for Simple Body.
Over time, what began as formulating clean products became something even more meaningful—helping people understand their skin. I loved listening to customers’ stories, walking them through routines, and watching their confidence grow as their skin started to heal. That’s how our free skincare consultations were born. I’ve always believed people should be able to try products before they buy them and truly understand what their skin needs, not just follow trends or marketing claims. Helping others find simple, effective routines that make them feel comfortable in their own skin has become my life’s purpose—and the heart of everything we do at Simple Body.
From Kitchen to Creation
Determined to make something safe and effective, I began experimenting with DIY skincare recipes. When they didn’t quite work, I started formulating my own — blending science with nature.
After a year, friends noticed my glowing skin and encouraged me to share my products. That’s how SimpleBody began: a kitchen project born from love, turned into a mission for better, cleaner skincare.
